Prayer for the sick

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you with heavy hearts, As we lift up those who are sick and suffering. We ask for your healing touch to be upon them, And for your comforting presence to surround them in their time of need.

Grant them strength to endure their illness, And courage to face each day with hope and faith. May they feel your loving arms wrapped around them, And know that they are never alone in their struggle.

Give wisdom to their caregivers, And guide the hands of those who provide medical treatment. May they be instruments of your healing grace, And may your divine wisdom guide their decisions.

Help us, as a community, to support and uplift the sick, To offer words of encouragement and acts of kindness. May we be reminded of the fragility of life, And of the importance of showing compassion to those who are suffering.

We trust in your power to heal, And we surrender all outcomes to your divine will. May your love and mercy be a source of comfort and strength, For those who are sick and for all who care for them.
