Prayer for wisdom

Dear Heavenly Father,

In a world filled with complexities and uncertainties, I come before you seeking wisdom. Grant me the discernment to make wise decisions and the understanding to navigate the challenges of life.

Help me to seek wisdom above all else, recognizing its value above material possessions or fleeting pleasures. Guide my thoughts, words, and actions, that they may be rooted in wisdom and guided by your truth.

Teach me to learn from my experiences and the experiences of others, and to humbly acknowledge that true wisdom comes from you alone. Grant me the patience to listen and the humility to admit when I do not know the answers.

Fill me with your Spirit, that I may be attuned to your wisdom in all things. May your wisdom be a lamp to my feet and a light to my path, guiding me towards righteousness and truth.

Thank you, Father, for the gift of wisdom and for the promise that if any of us lacks wisdom, we need only ask, and you will generously give it to us. May I always seek your wisdom above my own understanding, and may it bring glory to your name.
