Prayer for the lost

Dear Heavenly Father,

I lift up to you those who are lost and wandering, both physically and spiritually. You know each one by name, and you long for them to be found and restored to you.

Guide them, O Lord, along the paths of righteousness, and lead them back into the fold of your loving embrace. Open their eyes to see the truth of your word and the beauty of your love, and soften their hearts to receive your grace and forgiveness.

Send forth your Holy Spirit to convict and draw them to yourself, and use your people as instruments of your love and mercy to reach out to them with compassion and kindness.

Protect them from the snares of the enemy and the distractions of the world, and surround them with your presence and protection. May they hear your voice calling out to them, and may they respond with repentance and faith.

Thank you, Father, for your relentless pursuit of the lost and your desire for all to come to know you and experience the abundant life that you offer. May your kingdom come and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and may all who are lost find their way home to you.
